Faux Terracota Bead Garland

I saw some high end terratcota bead garlands online and I wasnt paying $129 for some beads! So I found one of those feet massagers with the rolling wooden beads and spent $1.99 for it. These large beads will work perfect!

I broke it apart for the and added those with some of the 20mm beads I already had onto some twine and viola! I first painted them with a chalk paint/baking soda mixture because they were kind of shiny and to add some texture to get a more clay look once I dry brushed them. Then painted the terracota color on. 

Once dry I dry brushed a couple of layers of white chalk paint. Im kind of wishing I left more of the terracota color but I love the look just the same! So $1.99 vs $129 Ill take it!
